Westport Select Cap Fund To Re-Open
Class I Shares To New Investors

Westport, Connecticut. September 6, 2006. The Westport Select Cap Fund-Class I Shares re-opened to new investors on September 1, 2006. As of that date, the Fund’s Class I Shares were opened to new investors, individual and institutional, who purchase I shares directly or through a third party intermediary. The Westport Select Cap Fund closed to new investors on April 12, 2002 in order to limit the growth of the Fund’s assets and preserve the Fund’s ability to invest effectively in stocks within the Fund’s market capitalization range.

The re-opening of the Westport Select Cap Fund-Class I Shares is intended to create a better balance between new purchases and sales. The Fund may benefit from new investor purchases by providing funds for the acquisition of attractively priced stocks for the portfolio. In addition, new inflows for the Fund will help in potentially reducing future capital gains.
